HistoryAs the owner of our classes, I went through the franchise training and became. certified as a franchise owner in March of 1992. I taught for a year in Pittsburgh, PA, moved to Virginia Beach, and have taught here since 1993. I'm celebrating my 25th anniversary teaching this year. Another milestone this year was we adding more classes our location, and we now have three other regular instructors that add variety to our great program. Jan MatsoukasSpecialtiesJazzercise is a dance fitness program that employs, fun and contemporary choreography that helps burn anywhere from 400 - 600 calories per hour, depending on your own level of participation. Core strength is a primary goal and strength training is built into our choreography. We achieve this through weight work as well, along with strength training for gluteals, arms, abs, etc. Our trained instructors get the class rocking out to top 40 tunes.
