Established in 1893, the Maymont Foundation features more than 100-acre landscape and a collection of exquisite furnishings. The organization offers a variety of historical, environmental and after-school programs for students. It provides information on seasons, rivers and rocks, as well as opportunities for hands-on adventures. The Maymont Foundation also offers a range of educational options for children with mental and physical disabilities. The organization hosts several types of spring and summer programs for the Girl Scouts of all ages. In addition, its recreational programs include outdoor adventures, animal encounters, games, and arts and crafts.
