Dr. Serena M. Satcher brings a wealth of experience in Musculoskeletal Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Occupational Medicine, medical leadership and more recently Functional Medicine to her patients. She earned a degree in medicine from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tenneesee in 1989, completed a residency in Internal Medicine New England Deaconess Hospital of Boston (now Beth Israel-Deaconess, a Harvard Medical School Program and Hospital) in 1992 and a second residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois in 1996. She is board certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Anti-aging, Regenerative and Functional Medicine and Integrative and Holistic Medicine. She is also subspecialty boarded in Sports Medicine.
