Hidden Valley High School
Established in 1972, Hidden Valley High School provides academic education to students from grades 9 through 12. It provides educational classes in a variety of subjects, such as English, health and physical education, math, science and government. The school also provides specialty courses in family and consumer science, technology education, business, art, marketing, computer science, foreign language and theater arts. It organizes Saturday school, study hall and remediation programs. It also operates the Center for Mass Communication and Governor s School. Hidden Valley High School maintains various clubs, including dance team, young democrats, film society, and math, science, volleyball and archery clubs. It also has an athletics department that organizes several volleyball, golf, basketball, swimming, wrestling and tennis matches. Hidden Valley High School has an academic enrollment of more than 1,000 students and is a part of Roanoke County Public Schools. It is located in Roanoke, Va.
