The former tobacco plantation has been in the same family for 200 years, founded by a Virginia legislator. In 1989, Pickett Craddock opened her family home as a bed & breakfast and has enjoyed both close friends and traveling guests as visitors.

Savor elegant breakfasts in our historic dining room and tour the house that was built in 1820. We're a half hour from Danville, Va., and Kerr Lake and an hour north of Durham, N.C., two hours from Richmond. Local attractions include the Prizery theater, the South Boston museum, several Civil War and Revolutionary War battlefields. We have been voted the greenest bed & breakfast in Virginia for several years, with solar panels and an electric car charger. We are also handicapped accessible.
