I founded Nourishing Foundations to help clients improve their health and well-being through a holistic approach to nutrition. When I had my own health problems in 2012, I worked with a nutritional therapy practitioner (NTP) to implement a whole-foods diet that was nourishing. My health improved significantly and I lost weight and experienced renewed energy and vitality. The positive results inspired me to enroll in the NTP training offered by the Nutritional Therapy Association. I learned how to treat different conditions with nutrients from food as well as high-quality supplements (am conservative) as well as a holistic and integrative approach to assessing and counseling clients. In my practice, I look at the physical, emotional and mental well-being of each client. I educate clients about the benefits of a whole foods diet and help them transition to a nutritional lifestyle that has lasting results

My body makes too many androgens (which cause facial hair, missed periods, etc. in women), so I wanted to change that through diet. The lifestyle change that Christine helped me make was started by consuming foods closer to their original source. Over the course of my consultation, I phased out certain foods to bring my body back into balance. Removing added sugar (or anything that my body processes similarly) was the biggest help for me.
