Established in 1982, the Center for Multicultural Human Services is a nonprofit organization that employs multilingual social workers, psychologists, psychiatrists, counselors, education specialists, art therapists and graduate interns. The center offers a range of mental health, social, educational and language services. It serves more than 6,000 individuals and families annually throughout Washington D.C. The center is also licensed by the Virginia Department of Mental Health. It specializes in psychological evaluation, child abuse prevention, housing and cultural orientation services. The center also offers clinical training programs in psychology, social work and counseling. Its domestic violence program provides assistance to perpetrators and victims of domestic violence. The Center for Multicultural Human Services is located in Falls Church, Va.
