History

Master Yi immigrated to America and opened his first Taekwondo school in 2009. Since then, Master Yi has expanded and is now the proud head master of two Taekwondo schools in the Richmond area. M.Y. Taekwondo is the proud recipient of the Best Martial Arts School in Richmond, 2013 and now offers afterschool, spring and summer camp programs.

At M.Y.Taekwondo it is our mission to provide the best martial arts experience possible. M.Y Taekwondo offers a variety of classes for all ages and levels at two convenient locations in Richmond, VA. There is no need for any experience or particular physical abilities, only an interest in martial arts and a desire to improve both your physical and mental fitness. We teach focus, confidence and discipline to children and adults in addition to traditional martial arts. At M.Y. Taekwondo, our students become family.
