Specialties
The Mayapple School offers creative, place-based education to children ages 2.5 - 6. Designed around our mission and values, this multi-disciplinary program includes hands-on experiences in maths, literacy, outdoor and nature education, art and music, fine and gross motor skills, social and emotional awareness, and practical life skills. At Mayapple, your child will have access to a creative and playful learning environment and curriculum, experienced and qualified teachers, and a low student: teacher ratio. Our mission: The Mayapple School engages children in rich, meaningful, and creative learning experiences that encourage cognitive and social growth. Using an integrated, playful curriculum with a focus on outdoor discovery, our students build an awareness of their selves, each other, and the world around them. The Mayapple School nurtures joyful, connected, and resilient children who are masters of their own learning and have a zest for life.
