Knights of Columbus is a fraternity established in association with the Catholic Church by Father Michael J. McGivney on March 29, 1882 in New Haven, Conn. The order was formed to support members and their families in times of sickness and with other life challenges and assistance including economics, education, charity and war relief.
The organization has grown to have more than 13,000 branches around the world with more than 1.7 million members. It is also involved in community efforts wherever there is a branch. Call for more information, or check out the website.
