James Woodrow Adams Elementary School enrolls students in prekindergarten through grade five. It prepares students through a flexible education system, which begins their development by engaging them in activities that encourage social, emotional and academic growth. Students apply problem-solving strategies learned through written, oral, technological and experiential applications in the classroom. Differentiated learning opportunities beyond the educational program are provided for students with special needs. The subjects cover core curricular areas, including English, mathematics, and science. James Woodrow Adams Elementary School students are encouraged to focus on art, music and the library for a well-rounded curriculum, as well as to participate in extracurricular activities and sports, such as basketball, volleyball and softball.
