The Jeanie Schmidt Free Clinic offers free health services to area residents who have no health insurance and have a household income of 200 percent or less than the federal poverty level. The clinic provides services to children as well as adults with chronic illness such as high blood pressure and diabetes. The clinic originally began with a few volunteers who worked at Herndon Middle School and eventually moved into its own space on Grove Street. Since then the clinic has been able to move into a larger space on Dulles Technology Drive at the Connections for Hope Center.
