HistoryRobbie Shackelford, President and General Manager of Home & Turf, has over 20 years of expertise in the landscape industry. He attended Newport News Apprentice School after being recruited for his football talents. When not playing Division 3 football, he was spending his time working at nurseries developing a passion for plants and landscapes. In 2001, Robbie's drive and ambition launched into the development of Home & Turf. His vision to create an organization that promotes the strength of partnerships and to build a team of talented employees has created a continually evolving multi-million dollar landscaping company. In 2012, Robbie made the commitment to advance Home & Turf by partnering with LandOpt, a nationwide network and select group of highly qualified landscape contractors.
