Children's Services of Virginia (CSV) is a licensed child placing agency that provides foster care, treatment foster care, and foster-to-adopt services for children and families in the northern half of Virginia, including Fredericksburg, Winchester, Front Royal, Harrisonburg, and surrounding areas. CSV, which opened its doors in 1992, primarily serves children who have experienced abuse and neglect, offering a range of services from emergency placements and sibling group placements to independent living programs and adoption services. With a focus on keeping siblings together and supporting the well-being of children, CSV works closely with approved resource families who provide nurturing homes and may have the opportunity to adopt children if parental rights are terminated. The agency charges no fee to resource families and assists with the adoption process. In 2021 alone, CSV placed 52 children in foster homes, facilitated the adoption of 16 children, and successfully reunited 11 children with their birth parents or relatives.Generated from the website
