History
Gaijin Ramen Shop is fully owned and operated by two best friends, Nicole & Tuvan. We pulled together our savings to build our restaurant, despite many people telling us that we wouldn't be successful. We set out to bring an authentic and friendly ramen experience to Arlington. We traveled to Japan and NY to learn how to make ramen and South Korea to learn the art of making kimchi. Our mentor is the chairman for the Japanese Culinary Association in NYC. Everything is made fresh at the restaurant daily- our noodles are handmade and contain no egg. We are very allergy conscious so customers can choose the toppings they desire on the ramen. We also have glute free options for all of our ramens. If you do not like ramen, we have many small plates and interesting Japanese food such as Okonamiyaki and soba salad. Our goals are to create delicious food with high quality ingredients and provide friendly service to our customers. We want you to feel welcomed and invited into our restaurant.
