Ralph Boeckmann joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in January 2014, following a 30-year career in the United States Army, where he attained the rank of Colonel. He served as an infantry officer, transportation logistician and senior Foreign Area Officer (FAO), with five tours of duty totaling 15 years overseas in a variety of command positions as well as key staff billets with U.S. and allied military HQ and diplomatic postings. Ralph understands the challenges and opportunities associated with life in the military and is committed to helping service members and their families get their financial lives squared away. Ralph has a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and German from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, NY, and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Boston University, as well as a Master's degree in International Security Studies from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy. He holds Series 6, 63, and 65 securities licenses plus life and health insurance licenses in his home resident state of Virginia, in addition to non-resident state licenses he retains in Alabama, Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, Missouri, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Washington, D.C., and West Virginia to better assist his clients and families. Ralph is committed to coaching clients to pursue their financial goals and lifetime dreams by bringing sound financial knowledge and trustworthy advice to a lasting relationship with each individual and family he serves. Active in his community, Ralph is a member of the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA), Association of the U.S. Army (AUSA), Foreign Area Officers Association (FAOA), West Point Society of D.C. (WPSDC) and West Point Society of NYC (WPSNY). Ralph is also affiliated with the Financial Planning Association (FPA), Financial Services Institute (FSI) and the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA). In his free time, Ralph enjoys spending time with family and traveling.
