Founded in 1958, Davis Boat Works is an east coast marine vessel repair facility providing on-site, as well as off-site services to both commercial and military organizations. It offers all types of marine repair, upgrades and conversions. It has a complete full-service machine shop and a fully secured warehouse with automated inventory system. It offers various services, such as welding, shipfitting, steel, stainless steel and aluminum repairs, preservation services, sandblasting and high-pressure water blasting, electrical repairs, down-river and emergency repairs. Its ship repair and alteration services also include on-site mobilization for most jobs. It employs more than 100 highly-skilled tradesmen and administrative personnel. Davis Boat Works is located in Newport News, Va.
