The Epilepsy Study Consortium (TESC) is a group of scientific investigators from academic medical research centers dedicated to accelerating the development of new therapies in epilepsy to improve patient care. Their mission is to build a partnership between academics, industry, and regulatory agencies, and optimize clinical trial methodology to responsibly speed new treatments to patients.
Since 2007, TESC has assisted in the design and conduct of over 100 clinical trials, utilizing their experience, tools, and network to accomplish faster and safer epilepsy trials. With a focus on fostering research that can make a difference to people with epilepsy in a timely manner, TESC aims to advance epilepsy research through innovative trial designs and collaboration with academic epilepsy researchers, governmental agencies, and pharmaceutical and device industry researchers.
