Crittenden Adjustment Company, a Virginia Corporation, was organized in 1971 by Archer B. Crittenden. Mr. Crittenden and his wife initially worked from their garage, expanding the business in the 1970's. In 1980, the first branch office of Crittenden Adjustment Company was opened in Petersburg Virginia. In the 1980's the company expanded into other areas; including a medical malpractice department, an Aviation Investigative Unit, and additional branch offices throughout Virginia, North Carolina and into Florida. In 1993, the Florida operation was spun off into a separate entity and the original Crittenden Adjustment Company remains a viable part of the independent adjusting business in Virginia, North Carolina and suburban Maryland. We have been a member of the National Association of Independent Insurance Adjusters since 1979, an affiliation of which we are very proud. Our corporate counsel is Richard A. Saunders, Esq. with Furniss, Davis, Rashkind and Saunders, PC in Norfolk, Virginia. We can be reached in an emergency 24 hours a day. Our after-hours automated night attendant directs callers to a number for an Officer or Manager of our company. Our normal business hours are from 8: 30AM to 5: 00PM (EST). We remain dedicated to providing professional service and doing it when our clients have a need. All corporate officers and branch managers are hands-on claims investigators/technicians, and will either be involved in the handling or the supervision of every assignment given to Crittenden Adjustment Company.
