This latest version of the Fairfax City Regional Library (moved and remodeled in 2008) offers the usual fiction, nonfiction, childrens' materials section, audiobooks, VHS tapes, DVDs, and other materials commonly found in other Fairfax County libraries. New additions include a two-tiered covered parking garage, 16-carrell quiet study room, large other-language collection, periodical selection and the Virginia Room, a large assortment of county history, government and genealogy.
The library is open to all residents in the county, not just those living in Fairfax City. Interlibrary exchange allows members to reserve books from other county libraries. Members can also access the library's database system from home.
