History
City Gallery Fine Art had it's origins in the summer of 2005, when friends Becky Guynn, Penny Mosley, Theresa and Bob Lazo decided to open the co-op art gallery to afford local artists a place to show their work. They found, bought and remodeled a storefront in downtown Galax. Since its inception, the Gallery has been a thriving enterprise showing upwards of 25 artists work at any one time. Over 100 artists have presented their work in the Gallery since its beginning and the Gallery has played a role in the revitalization of downtown Galax.
