Chancellor High School is governed by Spotsylvania County Schools. It offers classes from grades nine through 12 and enrolls more than 1,200 students every year. Chancellor High School offers various subjects, including career and technical education, fine arts, English, foreign languages, math and special education. The school, based in Fredericksburg, Va., also offers various athletic activities, such as basketball, wrestling, track, cheerleading, basketball, swimming, baseball, softball, tennis, soccer, field hockey, volleyball and golf. Its library provides several print and nonprint materials for research, reference and pleasure reading purposes. Spotsylvania County Schools also operates other schools, such as Courtland High School, Riverbend High School and Massaponax High School.
