Our park is a perfect location to host weddings, rehearsal dinners, anniversary and birthday parties, sports banquets, baby showers, office get-togethers, family reunions, and meetings. K-9 Corner In 2006, Elon opened Alamance County's first dog park. This one acre enclosed dog park is a place to bring canine friends, unleash them in this fenced area and let them run, play, and socialize with other dogs as the owner is nearby to observe the play. There is fresh water for the dogs and poop bag stations for easy access and use so humans can assure the area stays clean. Benches, and picnic tables are provided. You do not have to reside in Elon to use the K-9 Corner. Please have your pet current on all vaccinations and socialized. You may also bring your canine friend for an on-leash walk on the one-mile trail in Beth Schmidt Park. Please remember to pick up after your pet. Get Active! Disc Golf A 9-hole amateur course is a great practice area for the experienced player and an excellent course for family fun. Walking/Jogging Trails Approximately one mile of walking and jogging trails meander through the wooded area. Learn as you stroll--there are nearly 60 trees identified along the path.
