I was looking for something that I would adore but also would fit in my budget. It was a constant battle between the design and the price, so I went to India to visit my extended family who have been in jewelry business for last 15 years and are the wholesale manufacturers for some premier brands in India and Europe. Not only was I able to custom design a ring as per my liking, but also got it in my budget. The best part of the business being family owned was that I got to be a part of the whole process from designing to creating the beautiful ring. I got to spend a lot of time with the artisans working in the studio and got hooked on to the art of jewelry making.
