History
I have been a psychotherapist in private practice in the Metropolitan Washington, D.C. area since 1989 and in Fairfax, Virginia since 1994. In my final year of doctoral training I interned at the George Washington University Medical Center. In this setting I provided individual therapy, group therapy, couples therapy, and psychological assessment in an inpatient, outpatient, and HMO / managed care setting. During my doctoral training I worked in a variety of mental health settings including Community Mental Health, Counseling Center, and Private Practice settings.

I am a Clinical Psychologist who conducts therapy in my Fairfax office with adults and couples. I see a wide range of people in counseling whose presenting concerns include depression, anxiety and worry, poor coping skills, traumatic histories, personality and relationship problems, low self-esteem, stress, loss, job dissatisfaction, and more.
