Bishop Ireton High School
Bishop Ireton High School is a Catholic, college preparatory, coeducational high school serving students of grades nine through 12. Founded in 1964, the school is owned by the Diocese of Arlington and is administered by priests and brothers from the Oblates of St. Francis de Sales religious congregation. It offer classes in religion, English, social studies, mathematics, science, physical education, fine arts and computer science. The school has a foreign language department that provides education in Spanish, French, German and Latin. Bishop Ireton High School also offers various sports activities, including lacrosse, tennis, soccer, cross county, swimming, basketball, cheerleading, volleyball and softball. The school s clubs include association for computing machinery, cappies, chorus, crew, drama and spirit club. Bishop Ireton High School is located in Alexandria, Va.
