Chef de Cuisine, Sherry Battle found her culinary passion at young age growing up in Norfolk, VA.. Born in a culinary family her father owned the most popular restaurant in the community of seven cities. Inspired by her father she became his taste tester. While at the age 12 her dad begin to teach her how to create each dish. He hope that one day she would follow his footsteps. Cooking for family and friends to churches to restaurant chains onto selling her own food products she started her career. When Sherry was presented with the opportunity to open Almost Vegan cuisine, she saw it as a chance to show the world a culinary experience like no other. Her father believed that food is to nurture the body. When he passed she begin to follow Dr. Sebi who believed that food is medicine. Therefore you will find that her food is health conscious with a flair of modern exquisite. that taste magnificent The Almost Vegan menu is heavily influenced by a twist of Soul.
