Agnor-Hurt Elementary School was established in 1992 and its facility includes a history museum, soccer field, amphitheater, library, gymnasium, art and music room, computer lab and more than 30 classrooms. It offers classes to more than 350 students from prekindergarten through grade five. The school has a library media center that provides access to more than 2,000 magazines, newspapers, books, maps, pictures, radio and TV transcripts, and English and Spanish encyclopedias. It has a staff of more than 40 teachers that provides academic classes in computer technology, language arts, special education, foreign language, English, math, science and social studies. Agnor-Hurt Elementary School is a part of the Albemarle County Schools and is located in Charlottesville, Va.
