History
Married comedians/entrepreneurs Nathan and Natalie produced comedy shows in Vermont for 5 years before opening Vermont Comedy Club in 2015. The venue is a vibrant, community space dedicated to national and local standup, sketch and improv comedy. The COVID-19 pandemic closed the Vermont Comedy Club for 18 months; it reopened in September of 2021 with reduced capacity (120 seats), a daytime coffee shop (Happy Place Cafe), equipment upgrades, and vaccine & mask mandates to keep everyone safe. Whether customers are seeing a comedy show in the theater space, or just hanging out with friends in the lounge (no ticket required), they can choose from specialty cocktails, beer, wine, and delicious food.
