Located in the Champlain Valley in Vermont, we are premium growers of heirloom and specialty plants for kitchen gardens. Red Wagon Plants was started by Julie Rubaud ( above, left, with doggy Sandy ), an organic vegetable grower since 1993. Her interest in plants is fueled by her love for great food and her desire to make little patches of earth productive and attractive. Red Wagon Plants only exists because of the incredibly talented and dedicated people associated with it, pictured above: Allison Lea, Annie Harlow, Dana Ozimek, Eric Denise, volunteer extra-ordinaire Bob Fuhrer, Sara Bacon, and Hope Johnson. We are wholesale, organic plant growers with a retail outlet in Hinesburg, Vermont. As gardeners and cooks our love of food starts with seeds and soil and ends with spoons and plates. We strongly believe that the kitchen garden has significance in providing not only fresh, wonderful food for the table, but also helps our communities be strong, healthy, and beautiful. We distribute our plants throughout Vermont and New Hampshire to grocery stores, garden centers, food coops, and hardware stores. We pride ourselves on excellent customer service and can work with wholesale customers to help them develop an appropriate product line.
