History
Our deli at 22 Killington Avenue in Rutland, VT, was built in1936 as a neighborhood grocery and butcher. Over the years and before the giant supermarkets arrived this little store did a robust daily business. In the 1980's as supermarkets and convenience stores began to offer something of everything, business began to wane. We decided to make an offer to the owners and turn the store into a destination for really good, prepared food. We have now been in business for 18 years, we have a tremendous following of wonderful local customers and see new potential customers daily. We offer lunch and dinner, Monday-Friday, both sit-down and takeout.
