Established in 1893, Keewaydin is one of the oldest summer camps in North America. The organization offers opportunities for youths and children to develop character, leadership and self-confidence. It organizes various adventure, fun and challenging activities. Keewaydin provides opportunities for boys and girls to experience wilderness canoe trips. The organization s camps include the Keewaydin Dunmore for boys and the Songadeewin of Keewaydin for girls. Its camps offer a variety of activities, including canoeing, kayaking, rock climbing and backpacking trips. The organization also conducts water and land sports activities. Additionally, it offers drama and arts and crafts programs to camp members.
