History
Built in 1830 as a blacksmith shop, our home has had quite a history. From cider mill to youth hostel to the Idletyme Camp and famed Shed Restaurant. But one thing has remained a constant. It has always been the place where the locals have gathered. That tradition continues at Idletyme Brewing Company - Real food, real drink and real good people with a few surreal stories thrown in for good measure. We're respectful of the history we've inherited as well as the unique relationship the site has with the community. We deliver all that tradition in a contemporary environment that offers the latest in brewing and cooking techniques. Chef, Brian Murphy is a master at creating delicious, simple and seasonal comfort food. Brewmaster, Will Gilson is not only in charge of our delicious beer offerings, he and his green thumb are also responsible for our on-site vegetable garden.
