History25 years ago Overland started with just three bicycle trips in New England. In 2010 we will offer 40 programs spanning the outdoors, service, language, and the environment. While Overland has grown, in the most important ways little has changed. Just as it was in 1985, our focus is on the quality of the experience we offer to each of our students. Year after year, our careful planning and superb leadership creates programs of lasting value and importance. From bicycling on Cape Cod to volunteering in Tanzania, Overland will continue to help our students grow, to show them the beauty of the world and to help them find their place in it.SpecialtiesOverland Programs offers summer and semester programs for students in 5th through 12th grade. Since 1984, we have given thousands of students the opportunity to explore the world in safe, supportive and wholesome groups. Overland's activities include hiking, biking, service, language immersion, writing and the environment. Summer programs are one to six weeks long and our semester program is 12 weeks long.
