Andrew Geeslin, MD is an Orthopedic Sports Medicine surgeon at the University of Vermont Medical Center and assistant professor at the Larner College of Medicine at the University of Vermont. As an athlete and outdoorsman, Dr. Geeslin understands the impact an injury can have on a person’s quality of life. He finds it rewarding to work with his patients to treat their injury and help them to return to their occupation, sports, and hobbies. He strives to educate patients on their diagnosis and to thoroughly review both surgical and non-surgical treatments. If surgery is necessary, Dr. Geeslin will work to deliver the highest level of care with advanced surgical techniques and to partner with the physical therapy team to maximize recovery. Dr. Geeslin performs a number of specialized procedures, including complex knee surgery, hip preservation (arthroscopy), and shoulder arthroscopy. His work as a surgeon is supported by his orthopedic research and his background as an engineer.
