History
Robotic Orthopaedic Institute opened in 2016 by Dr Gregory J Hicken, a Mayo Clinic-fellowship-trained surgeon and national authority on robotic joint replacement surgery. Dr Hicken also offers robotic & non-robotic shoulder, direct-anterior approach hip, carpal tunnel, sports medicine (rotator cuff, meniscus, ACL) surgery, fracture care, and general musculoskeletal care. The Institute rebranded in 2021 and now features full-circle orthopaedic, physiotherapy, chiropractic, robotic knee replacement, sports medicine, performing arts medicine, medical massage and lymphatic manual draining treatments, pre-operative nutrition and weight loss counseling, all in one clinic with multidisciplinary care team members who collaborate to manage patient care. Care for work-related, motor vehicle, slip and fall, and pedestrian accidents is available. We are accepting new patients. Appointments are available with the surgeon within 2 weeks and with the physician assistant even sooner.
