Felt Lighting was first started by Charles Lamont Felt in 1906. In the beginning the company was named Felt Electric. Charles Lamont started the company by selling lights out of a wagon and doing electrical repairs in the Avenues and East Bench area of Salt Lake City, Utah. He then moved into a store on 100 South and the company has grown from there. The current owner is Gary Felt, who is a third generation owner. Felt Lighting is now located at 1220 E. 3300 S. in Salt Lake City, Utah. Come on in and see the newly remolded 4, 000 square foot showroom. Felt Lighting Inc has five main aspects of their business. First, they sell fixtures, fans, track lighting, table lamps, floor lamps, landscape lighting, lamp shades, light bulbs, glass replacements and lamp parts. Second, Felt Lighting Inc can repair and or create lamps, fixtures and lampshades. Third, they sell residential and commercial street lighting. Fourth, Felt Lighting offers personal service through knowledgeable sales associates who can help to create a warm and inviting living or workspace. Fifth, Felt Lighting creates and manufactures lamps, fixtures, wall sconces, chandeliers, pendants and street poles for residential and commercial use.
