Developmental Disability Management Services (DDMS) is a national organization that provides housing, care, and support services for individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. With nearly 150 locations across six states, including Texas, Louisiana, Tennessee, Illinois, Alabama, Utah, and Florida, DDMS serves approximately 840 individuals in various settings such as ICF IID, group homes, apartments, and home and community-based services.
As advocates, DDMS operates independently of government agencies and health and disability service funders to ensure that the rights of individuals with disabilities are respected. They offer teaching, coaching, and mentoring programs to empower individuals to become more independent, build self-confidence, and make informed decisions. With a focus on self-sufficiency, employment, and achieving a high school education, DDMS strives to create a supportive environment where individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities can thrive.
