History
In November of 1998, Caleb Chapman, began a small music school in American Fork, Utah, called the Crescent School of Music. Housed in a tiny brick building, the school launched with a handful of private instructors and just over 50 private students. Today, the Soundhouse is recognized nationally as the leading music performance training studio for musicians. Alumni from the award-winning program are highly sought-after by top-tier colleges across the country. The Soundhouse bands are comprised of serious musicians performing a wide variety of styles from soul to swing, rock to reggae, country to cool jazz, and funk to fusion. The program is built on a unique philosophy of empowerment, musicianship, and mentorship. In 2017, Caleb partnered with music industry veterans Andrew Surmani (CEO) and Rick Drumm (COO) to begin a global expansion of the Soundhouse brand. The team plans the launch of 140 more locations globally in the next decade.
