Located in Brigham City, Utah, Box Elder High School is a rural county high school established in 1894. It enrolls more than 1,300 students in grades 10 through 12 and lays emphasis on academic excellence and provides a wide variety of extracurricular activities and community support programs. Its counseling department helps develop and manage healthy life skills, relationships and coping skills. The department also provides responsive services that include crisis response, mental and emotional wellness skills, and group and individual counseling. Box Elder High School uses a trimester scheduling system with three semesters each school year and offers more than 15 courses. The school provides courses in animal science, anthropology, American government, English, German, studio art, body conditioning and childcare. It has jazz and pep bands, football team, art club and powerlift team.
