Established in 1954, St. John the Evangelist Catholic School offers a Christ-centered curriculum to students in pre-kindergarten through grade eight. The school provides classes in art, mathematics, physical education, science, language arts, music, religion and social studies. It also offers sports activities in volleyball, soccer, basketball, and track and field. St. John the Evangelist Catholic School has a home-school association that supports school through various activities. The school provides before- and after-school care programs. It additionally offers various opportunities to participate in student organizations, including Junior National Honors Society and student council. The school is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and is a member of the National Catholic Educational Association.
