Founded in 1952, William Monnig Middle School serves students in grades six through eight. Its academic curriculum includes art, business, English, math, history, social science, and health and physical education. The school also conducts classes in music and family and consumer science. William Monnig Middle School operates a foreign language department that conducts Spanish classes. It offers a range of extracurricular activities, such as band, chorus, orchestra and student council. The school s sports activities include soccer, flag football, cross country, tennis, field hockey, speedball, basketball, volleyball, wrestling, swimming, weight training, dance, gymnastics, and track and field.
