VZS Concessions is restaurant that offers catering services. It also hosts social events. The restaurant is a part of Gladys Porter Zoo, which is a zoological and botanical park. It provides space for birthday parties, weddings, meetings and corporate retreats. Gladys Porter Zoo was founded in 1971 and receives visits from more than 375,000 tourists. The zoo features an administrative office, education building, gift shop, clinic and concession stands, maintenance facilities and breeding areas. It is a member of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums and features animals, such as macaw canyon, tortoises, Caribbean flamingos, spider monkeys, crocodiles, orangutans, kangaroos, kookaburras, crocodiles, wallabies and magpie geese.
