Van Zandt-Guinn Elementary opened in 1979 as one of two alternative schools in the Fort Worth Independent School District. It enrolls more than 300 students in prekindergarten through grade five. The school offers a variety of educational opportunities for the physical, emotional, intellectual, social and spiritual development of children. Its academic curriculum includes several subjects, such as mathematics, art, social studies, science, music and physical education. The school also offers special education programs for students with special needs. The Fort Worth Independent School District offers the All St.A.R.S. program, which is a preventive behavioral program for elementary-grade students. Van Zandt-Guinn Elementary is located in Fort Worth, Texas.
