It grew quickly with numerous contracts from companies such as SDG & E, Cubic Corp., Solar Turbines and Rohr Inc. providing San Diego's government and commercial organizations with a new, single source for services and systems that address their document/data capture and management challenges. As time and technology grew, Western Micrographics expanded into equipment sales in the late 1980's, and now offers a full range of Digital Imaging services in the New Millennium. Typically 2,500 A0 monochrome microfilm aperture cards can be scanned and stored on just one 650Mb CD ROM. Smaller formats (A4 16mm microfilm) can achieve 20,000 images per CD ROM. Western Micrographics is equipped with the latest high speed scanning equipment and our scanning services are one of the lowest cost services you will find. Additionally, we can transform digital images such as PDF files into other formats.
