History
Plainview has a population of around 22,000 people, however the Plainview medical community draws from a populous of about 75,000 people from the surrounding rural communities. Plainview is an amazing town full of God-fearing, hard-working people in need of good medical care. Unfortunately, many Plainview residents drive to Lubbock multiple times per week to receive physical therapy. West Texas Family Medicine is a family practice with locations in Hale Center, Floydada, and Plainview. One of the founders, Dr. Mark McClanahan, was a physical therapist that went back to school to become a D.O. He has maintained his physical therapy license. He initiated the process of developing a much-needed PT practice in Plainview. West Texas Family Medicine PT has been seeing Pts since February of 2017.
