History
In the early 1980's, one mom knew that the town of Marble Falls needed affordable daycare. She started Babyland, and eventually Step Up Pre-K, which ran for over 30 years with a great reputation of structure and love for the kids while still always being known for a curriculum that actually prepared the kids for school. In 2016, the owner was ready to retire, and a local named Jordan Johnson decided to buy the daycare to prevent it from closing down completely and partnered with the owner's daughter, Sandra Clarke as an Owner/ Daycare Director team. Sandra, not only grew up in the daycare, she's managed the Pre-K program for 10 years and held her Directors license for the last 5 years. She's finally spreading her wings and managing the Directors duties in conjunction with the new Owner, Jordan, who invested back into the daycare with new rooms, flooring, paint, & toys and a whole new look, and helps drive the vision forward of an affordable daycare with an emphasis on healthy options.
