HistoryMandy first began teaching piano at the age of 14 from her parent's garage playroom. Since then, she has continued teaching for over 15 years, while performing professionally across Texas at many special venues such as weekly at Nordstrom, monthly at Westwood Country Club, The Driskill Hotel, The Headliner's Club, Star Cruises, and numerous other venues. She taught in South Austin from her studio there, and also taught Elementary School Music K-5, in addition to teaching general Education of 1st and 3rd grade while continuing to teach piano and perform professionally. In the Fall of 2014, Mandy and her husband moved to Round Rock and she opened her new studio, Maxon Music Stars! She is so happy to be teaching in the North Austin area and looks forward to the upcoming piano recital at the Palace Theater for her new students, with guest performances from past students.SpecialtiesAt Maxon Music Stars Studio, fun piano and voice lessons are provided at a reasonable rate from an experienced pianist, vocalist and certified Elementary School Teacher with her degree in Education from the University of Texas at Austin since 2000.
