HistoryThe House Company Realtors was started by Nancy House Billingsley in 1974. The clientele of The House Company were primarily owners of large estate type homes, ranches and commercial properties. The number of associates was limited to just a few hand picked experienced agents and brokers. Then in 1981, Scott Billingsley joined the firm and expanded both the clientele and the number of associates. By 1996, the company had multiple locations serving San Antonio to Boerne and Comfort and was growing. But, the quality of individual agents is hard to keep high when the number is also high and in the last decade changes to the number of agents and clients represented at one time were cut. Today, The House Company has only very experienced agents and brokers who are full time.
