HistoryMy name is Mario and I'm originally from the southern part of Texas. My parents had the biggest influence on me growing up and food was definitely at the center of it all. As a child, I spent a lot of time helping my parents in the kitchen or outside barbecuing in the backyard, learning how to cook and family recipes. As the years passed, my passion for food grew stronger and I wanted to learn as much as possible about cooking, therefore, I got a culinary arts degree from The Art Institute of Austin. I have been cooking for the last twenty-one years and it's been a great experience, so I finally decided to start my own business and established Yummy Pies back in April of 2022. As an entrepreneur, my hope is to become a well-known and trusted bakery in Austin, TX.SpecialtiesYummy Pies is a handmade pie supplier based in Cedar Park, TX, offering catering services for parties of 50 to 500 guest. Each pie is three inches in diameter and always baked fresh to order. We take pride in our work and want people to taste the difference between our pies and the competition; that's why we only use scratch made pie crust, fillings with a pleasant balance of sweet and savory, topped off with fresh whipped cream. Our menu offers eleven different pies, and you can opt for one childhood favorite or switch it up with a variety of styles to delight every guest. Simply choose all of your favorite flavors, toppings and then contact us to schedule a private tasting at our kitchen. This will be a great opportunity for you and a guest to sample our pies to get a sense of style, quality, and presentation of our baked goods. Then once you have made a final decision, we will take care of the rest. We arrange the preparation, delivery, and presentation of your delicious pies at your event. Pies can be displayed according to your preference, or we can happily offer suggestions to match the theme of your event. If you would like a pie that is not on the menu, we are always open to accommodate any special request.
